Eyewitness accounts and circulating video footage indicate that the shooting occurred directly adjacent to the Bellagio Resort, along the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. The incident appears to have been captured live on a YouTube livestream, which was abruptly cut short as the shooting unfolded.
Shortly after the event, LVMPD confirmed that the shooting was not random and suggested a prior conflict between those involved.
Although LVMPD had not immediately confirmed names, multiple credible news outlets and social media reports identified the victims as Arizona-based YouTuber Finny Da Legend and his wife, known online as Bubbly. The couple was livestreaming outside the Bellagio fountains at the time of the attack.
According to Fox5 Vegas, the livestream showed Finny Da Legend setting up the camera and engaging with viewers before a confrontation occurred, after which several shots rang out, killing both Finny Da Legend and Bubbly on the spot.
Friends and family have begun to identify the victims publicly. Derek Ware, a close friend of Finny Da Legend, described him as “more than a YouTuber”—a devoted father, husband, and community-minded individual who often donated to people in need online and maintained a large livestreaming presence.
Bubbly was remembered by those close to the channel as having a warm, playful demeanor, frequently appearing alongside her husband in videos and beloved by the community for her humor and positive energy.

LVMPD stated that the suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, turned himself in to Henderson Police Department shortly after the shooting.
Ruiz, who reportedly goes by the online alias SinCity-MannyWise (or Sin City Family), is believed to have had an ongoing social media feud with Finny Da Legend and his wife prior to the incident.
Police believe the conflict, which played out over months on various platforms, escalated and culminated in this violent confrontation.
Manuel Ruiz was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon. LVMPD’s Undersheriff Andrew Walsh commented that the victims and suspect had engaged in previous conflicts via social media platforms, underscoring that investigators view the shooting as an isolated incident rather than a random act of violence.
According to multiple sources, the shooting unfolded during a live broadcast on Finny Da Legend’s YouTube channel, where he often hosted open-format livestreams inviting interaction and discussion, including commentary on other creators’ content. Viewers watching the stream witnessed the fatal encounter in real time, with the footage being taken down from YouTube soon after but circulating on other platforms like X.
Online community posts and interviews with acquaintances indicate that Finny Da Legend and Manuel Ruiz (SinCity-MannyWise) had been involved in a protracted “beef” since at least 2023, involving heated livestreams, reaction videos, and personal accusations.
An earlier incident reportedly involved Ruiz pepper-spraying Bubbly, which Finny addressed online rather than retaliating physically. Over time, viewers speculate, Finny’s growing subscriber base and Ruiz’s diminishing following may have intensified the rivalry.
Finny Da Legend, an Arizona-based content creator, ran a YouTube channel with several thousand subscribers. There were approximately 3.4k at the time of his last upload. He focused on livestreaming experiences, commentary on other YouTubers, reaction videos, and community engagement.
His channel’s format often included multi-hour streams. There he would discuss trending topics, react to other creators’ content, and interact with his audience in a candid manner.
He was known for encouraging open discussion. He was inviting viewers and guests to share their perspectives on various individuals in the online space, including directly addressing conflicts such as his feud with SinCity-MannyWise.
In addition to streaming, Finny Da Legend’s content occasionally featured philanthropic gestures, such as donating to people in need within his community or using his platform to highlight charitable causes. Friends describe him as someone who “took care of his kids” and frequently checked in on others, suggesting his online persona blended entertainment with personal outreach.
Bubbly, his wife, was a recurring presence on the channel, contributing to videos with her playful humor and supportive dynamic with Finny. Viewers appreciated the couple’s chemistry, and their collaborative appearances often added warmth and relatability to the content.
Manuel Ruiz was known online as SinCity-MannyWise or through his channel Sin City Family (which has since been removed by YouTube for community guidelines violations),
He cultivated a brand centered on Las Vegas-centric streaming. Visiting casinos, exploring local events, and producing confrontational or bold commentary on other creators.
His style leaned toward unfiltered, sometimes provocative content. It attracted a niche following but also generated controversy due to its confrontational nature.
Sources report that Ruiz’s channel was terminated by YouTube in the aftermath of the shooting. His feud with Finny Da Legend reportedly involved months of livestream clashes. There were mutual call-outs and personal jabs that escalated tensions on both sides.
Friends of Finny noted that the rivalry “brewed for two years”. There were moments of bullying behavior attributed to both parties before the tragic outcome.
LVMPD continues to treat the case as a homicide investigation, with detectives gathering all available evidence, including the livestream video, witness statements, and digital communications between the involved parties.
The Clark County coroner’s office is in the process of formally identifying the victims and releasing official names; however, multiple outlets and close associates have already confirmed them as Finny Da Legend and Bubbly.
Authorities emphasize that while social media conflicts can be public and dramatic, the escalation to lethal violence is rare. LVMPD is reviewing the timeline of events leading up to the shooting.
This includes any previous reports of threats or altercations, and whether there were missed opportunities to intervene. Detectives are also examining the livestream footage for additional clues, including any bystanders’ recordings posted online.
The suspect, Manuel Ruiz, turned himself in soon after the shooting and is currently in custody awaiting arraignment. He faces two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon; prosecutors will decide on additional charges depending on evidence of premeditation or other aggravating factors.
The online creator community has been rocked by the news, with many expressing shock that a digital feud could culminate in such tragedy. Fellow YouTubers and streamers have posted tributes to Finny Da Legend, mourning his passing and warning of the dangers of unchecked online conflict. Some are calling for platform holders to provide better support or mediation when rivalry escalates.
Fans have flooded the comment sections of Finny Da Legend’s remaining videos, sharing condolences and memories of his livestreams. Memorial pages and hashtag campaigns have begun circulating on social media in his honor.
Meanwhile, discussion around responsible content creation and mental health in the influencer space has intensified. Commentators noting that both creators had posted troubling or aggressive content prior to the shooting.
The Las Vegas shooting claimed the lives of YouTuber Finny Da Legend and his wife Bubbly. It underscores a tragic escalation of a long-running online feud between content creators.
As LVMPD’s investigation continues, the community grapples with the intersection of digital conflict and real-world consequences.
Finny Da Legend loved engaging in livestreams and community outreach alongside his wife. The incident serves as a sobering reminder of the potential severity of online disputes when they spill into real life.
