Blackjack Card Counting Explained

If you ever wondered what card counting in Blackjack means, here’s how you do it. Keep in mind that this is not appreciated by casinos, however, it’s not illegal.

Blackjack is essentially a game that has been beat. That’s why casinos use seven or eight decks instead of one, and then they let players cut the deck, too. all this serves to make card counting impossible, and it’s very efficient.

Still possible on some sites though. Ypu can still find BJ with just one deck, so counting works there.

I honestly can’t find casinos with one deck BJ anymore. Tell me if you do.

Yeah, pretty sure, one deck online BJ doesn’t exist anymore.

You can still do it online, though. It’s not an exact science, so it’s not always going to work, bu tin the long run, you should still be able to make a profit.

If you want to be good at BJ, you sjould probably be able to do this without software support or anything. It
s a real challenge.

Correct. It’s just still more fn to play live, but you need to know some card counting just to increase your chances. I don’t see this as cheating.

Well, if merlin doesn’t see it as cheating, I guess it can’t be. 🙂 No hard feeling, I agree with you.

Blackjack is just such a fantastic game. So much strategy, action and suspense, and it has the lowest house edge.

Free doubles and splits sound juicy, but that push-on-22 smells like the catch. Anyone tried similar variants before?

Yeah, played it in Vegas once. Feels fun at first… then the pushes start piling up 😅

Free bets = dopamine
Push on 22 = pain

From a math standpoint, the push-on-22 is doing a LOT of heavy lifting for the house edge. You’re basically giving back many dealer bust wins.
